As this is our first year opening group classes, we will not yet have staff who possess the necessary qualifications to accommodate children with higher levels of special needs at this time. It is the future plan for Hope's Ventures to welcome children with all levels of abilities and have the appropriate trained staff to assist them. Current efforts are being made to begin a scholarship program for these individuals, so that we may be able to hire staff with the background and knowledge to support these campers. Please check back for updates as to when this will be offered!
If your child has any level of special need and will require extra assistance participating in the offered activities, please contact owner and Occupational Therapist, Britni Cobb, at:
to schedule a phone interview to determine if we will be able to provide the necessary accommodations and assistance to meet your child's needs. Spaces will be limited for these students in order to fully meet the need of each child in attendance.
If you did not make contact prior to enrolling and your child is unable to participate in class activities or alternative activities offered due to high medical, physical or behavioral needs, you may be asked to pick your child up from class and will be refunded your class fee equal to the remainder of time left in the class for the week. All efforts will be made to engage and assist students at various participation levels and offer alternative activities to prevent a child leaving class prematurely.
